The local coroner said the roof was nearly taken off the second vehicle. After it was hit by the tire, the car crashed into a second tractor-trailer. It then hit the median. The 36-year-old female driver of the second car died on impact. Her parents and child were in the vehicle with her, but their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening. The first truck stopped safely. The case is still being investigated.
